Mission Statement
The Department of Land Use Administration administers the City's Zoning Ordinances.  As such, it reviews and inspects land development proposals, new subdivisions and construction of improvements for compliance with all applicable zoning, planning, engineering, and environmental regulations and policies while reflecting the concerns of neighboring citizens.
In addition, the Department assists the City Manager, City Council, Planning and Zoning Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, Historic Preservation Commission, Subdivision Review Committee, and other boards and entities in the performance of their functions.
