Since it's inception in 1998, the Pueblo Firefighters
Clown Brigade has continued to entertain the citizens of our great community in
many ways. The Pueblo Firefighters Clown Brigade can be found at various public
events throughout the year, including all major city parades, Pueblo's Home and
Garden show, Colorado State Fair and numerous special appearances throughout the
year.
The Pueblo Firefighters Clown Brigade is a " Not
For Profit" organization comprised of professional firefighters from the city of Pueblo,
Colorado. Our
primary goal is the education
of our city's residents through characterization and puppetry. All clowns
involved do this on a volunteer basis. Many hours are spent organizing, practicing and performing at numerous appearances
throughout the year. Much of our costumes and accessories are paid for out of
our own pockets. We do this because of our dedication to the citizens of our
great community and our desire to give everyone we come into contact with the
tools to be fire safe.
Throughout the years many of our faces have changed having only
one of the original founding members still actively participating. Although
these faces have changed our mission has not, we still strive to touch the lives
of every child or adult we see and know if we can save a life we have done our
job.
