The Department of Planning and Community Development’s mission is to:
  • Lead the way on the design and implementation of community investment capital projects approved by City Council to meet the future needs of the community and improve neighborhoods
  • Preserve and enhance Pueblo’s unique quality of life by administering the City’s comprehensive plan and enforcing land use regulations in a timely and consistent manner
  • Provide professional technical support to the City’s elected officials in reaching their decisions on land use development proposals

Certificate of Occupancy Inspections
Inspections are done on Tuesdays and Thursday beginning at 10:00 am. Please bring in your routing sheet by 10:00 am to ensure your project is inspected that day.
