Pueblo Parks and Recreation Volunteer Program

Volunteers are fundamental to Pueblo Parks and Recreation!

Volunteers positively impact our parks by providing important services, assisting with special projects and building up our community without a negative financial impact. Volunteers achieve a sense of community pride for supporting one of Pueblo’s greatest resources. We have several volunteer opportunities available with Pueblo's Park and Recreation Department.
Runyon to the Res Colorado Lottery 092319

For 36 years, the Colorado Lottery has contributed more than $3.4 billion to Colorado’s parks, trails, and open spaces – and now we’re inviting you to help make a difference as well! We are proud to join Colorado Parks & Wildlife, the City of Pueblo Dept. of Parks & Recreation, the Nature & Wildlife Discovery Center, and the Sierra Club – Sangre de Cristo Group as we clean up a 7.5-mile section of the Arkansas River in Pueblo on Saturday, October 19 from 8:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Together we can help preserve and protect what makes Colorado beautiful. Sign up today to lend a hand on this amazing project.

Thanks to all that have signed up for the Colorado Lottery's Runyon to the Res clean-up!
They have met their goal of 200 volunteers!
