We’ve recently completed a renovation to the City Park Dog Park.
Amenities added include:
Accessible pathways and sidewalks
Drinking fountains for your furry friend;
Six dog bone shaped benches;
Several new trees;
Shade structure; and
Separate fenced areas for small and large dogs.
Health and Safety Rules
Use the dog park at your own risk.
Owners are legally responsible for the behavior of their dogs at all times.
Dogs must be leashed while entering and exiting the park.
Dog waste must be cleaned up by their owners IMMEDIATELY.
Owners must be within the dog park and supervising their dog with leash readily available.
Dog handlers must be at least 18 years of age.
Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older and supervised at all times.
Aggressive dogs must be removed IMMEDIATELYI
Dogs should be under voice control at all times.
Dog bites to people that break the skin must be reported immediately to Pueblo Animal Control at (719) 544-3005 and the Park Ranger on duty at (719) 553-2700 by anyone involved or witnessing the bite. (City Ordinance Sec. 11-4-12)
Violators are subject to removal from the facility by Park Rangers and are subject to fines. All users must abide by posted rules. (City Ordinance Sec. 10-1-3)
