Books in the Park

Books in the Park is a summertime favorite. The program includes books, art,crafts, snacks and a weekly story time presented by community volunteers. Free lunches for children ages 18 and under are provided by Pueblo City Schools.

Pueblo Parks and Recreation is proud to partner up with the Pueblo City-County Library, YMCA of Pueblo and other community partners for this great program. 

Bessemer Park

Fairmount Park

Kids Day Parade and Celebration of Books in the Park


Parade route along Abriendo Avenue and afterwards come celebrate Books in the Parks season finale at Grome Park!
