Closed on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. during the mowing season for maintenance.

301 S. Parkside Lane, between the pool and ball fields in Pueblo City Park

Amenities
We’ve recently completed a renovation to the City Park Dog Park. 
Amenities added include:

  • Restrooms;
  • Accessible pathways and sidewalks
  • Lighting;
  • Drinking fountains for your furry friend;
  • Six dog bone shaped benches;
  • Several new trees;
  • Shade structure; and
  • Separate fenced areas for small and large dogs.

 Health and Safety Rules

  • Use the dog park at your own risk.
  • Owners are legally responsible for the behavior of their dogs at all times.
  • Dogs must be leashed while entering and exiting the park.
  • Dog waste must be cleaned up by their owners IMMEDIATELY.
  • Owners must be within the dog park and supervising their dog with leash readily available.
  • Dog handlers must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older and supervised at all times.
  • Aggressive dogs must be removed IMMEDIATELYI
  • Dogs should be under voice control at all times.
  • Dog bites to people that break the skin must be reported immediately to Pueblo Animal Control at (719) 544-3005 and the Park Ranger on duty at (719) 553-2700 by anyone involved or witnessing the bite. (City Ordinance Sec. 11-4-12)
  • Violators are subject to removal from the facility by Park Rangers and are subject to fines. All users must abide by posted rules. (City Ordinance Sec. 10-1-3)
Prohibited
  • Human and dog food treats
  • Alcohol and drug use
  • Glass containers
  • Dogs in heat
  • Sick dogs
  • Aggressive dogs
  • Puppies under 4 months of age
